If your banging on the glass with a fist pretty hard and it goes off then its pretty close to being where you want it. If you lightly tap the glass with your keys or fist and it goes off its too sensitive. You don't want it too sensitive or a loud vehicle or trash truck driving by will set it off. There is a fine line to tuning it so when you find the adjustment screw only move it a fraction of a turn and test it.
