Hi!
I downloaded over the air the application on my Blackberry 9700 running OS v.5.0.0.344.
The BB Ticket client version installed is 1.0.6.
I see the following modules installed:
- ticket_client_for_kayako
- ticket_client_for_kayako_46
I check the Allow option for the Connections, Interactions and Users data as suggested in the Troubleshooting tips about the Error: Unable to connect.
I tried using the WiFi and also using my Carrier, both don't work.
The URL is: http://support.mydomainname.com/staff/ and tried also: http://support.mydomainname.com/staff (with and without the last / ).
My username is only letters.
My password has letters and numbers, but no special characters.
I tried from 2 different WiFi and don't think it would be my router who blocks it.
The security option on my cellphone in the Firewall property is disabled.
What else?
Is the application supposed to run on a Blackberry 9700 ?
Thanks
Karl

Hello Karl,
Yes, it runs fine on the 9700.
The URL is the problem. It should be http://support.mydomainname.com/ (no staff or admin sections added).
Best Regards,

Try and add
under /mobile/index.php
That fixed the connectivity issue I had with my BB9700.
if {
(preg_match('/(?:.*)+blackberry(?:.*)/i', $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']))
{ header('Content-Type: application/octet-stream');}
}
