Today we would like to announce the immediate availability of our Windows Mobile Live Support Client for Kayako.

Currently, if you wish to answer Live Chat requests in Kayako, you have to be at a desktop machine. Our Windows Mobile Live Support Client allows you to answer Live Chat requests on Windows Mobile based phones. You can choose to stay Away and only answer transferred chats or answer all chat requests with ease. This allows you to leave the office knowing your customers can still reach you without needing to give out your mobile / cell phone number.

This application is ideal for support agents and staff who are often on the move.

Currently the application supports the basic functionality of answering chat requests, etc but we plan to expand it over the next few months to take advantage of all the functionality the Kayako API we connect to allows.

When Kayako version 4 is released, we will look to setup a way for a coded SMS message to be sent when a new chat request comes in so the application can connect only if you choose to accept the chat request. This means you will no longer need to stay signed in on your phone which can be a eat away at battery life quickly. We expect Kayako to release version 4 some time in 2010 with our application updated shortly after.
