I want to use the API to protect access to some reports to only customers with a valid Kayako account. Is there a way to use Kayako login as an SSO source?

e.g.

- Logged in to Kayako customer portal? Then you can access the custom reports as well.
- Not logged in? You can use your Kayako login creds to gain access to the reports. The reports page presents a login form, and after logging in, the login mechanism redirects you right back to the reports page.

I can do a custom login form by scraping the forms from Kayako and using the Kayako database directly, but I'm having trouble with the SSO (i.e. already logged in?) and redirecting back to the reports page parts. Trouble as in not documented (not PHP or other technical troubles)

Thanks!

Where are the reports stored? In tickets?

Oh, no, not at all. The reports have nothing to do with tickets, in fact. I just want to use the Kayako user credentials as a point of record for authentication. If they have an enabled account in Kayako, then they are allowed to see these reports. So using Kayako as the point of record to check makes sense.

THanks!

Ah. Right. You can't really do that with our API.
