Been playing around with this... Open Tickets show, Closed Tickets dont, and On Hold Tickets dont show either.
It does retrieve all departments and build a filter list based off those departments but it doesn't seem to retrieve Closed or On Hold tickets.
Tried setting Network Connection to Carrier Data Network, this did not resolve the issue.
Tried setting Network Connection to Blackberry Internet Service, returned Invalid server response. You may need to add Content Type Code.
Set Network Connection to Auto, this did not resolve the issue either.
Support directory is not a https directory, only http
I currently have version 1.0.4 installed on the phone.

ok I resolved the issue, here is how it was done:
Log into the admin panel for the ticket system
go to Tickets in the navigation pane
go to Manage Statuses
Click Edit for the status que your not recieving on the phone.
Change "Display In Main Ticket Listing" to Yes.
Click Update Status.
Now if you go back into the blackberry ticket client, and sync, you will now see the tickets that are set to that Ticket Status.
-----
Why would you have to do this? because the blackberry application is interfacing to the 'mobile phone' part of the site, and if these are set to no, then the data on the tickets in these areas will not be sent to the phone other then how many tickets are tagged to that status.
Hope that helps anyone else who might of been having the same problem.

This is actually how Kayako works. Kayako assumes you only wish to reply to "Open" tickets while "on the road" with your phone and thus you have to enable other statuses to sync if required.
Our application uses the Kayako Mobile API so this is why you see references to it.
