just a couple of questions:

1) on my mac osx leopard (ffox 3.5) livesupport does not work (if i use support suite application for windows on a windows machine it works)

2) any way to have a preview of ticket (even only subject could be ok) simply clicking on the bar? wink.gif

Hello,

1. I will test this out today when I get into the office where my test Mac is.

2. Sadly not. The API in Kayako does not support it.

Sorry for the delay on this. I have now tested on a Mac and it works fine for me.

In what way does it not work for you?

Hi,

I'm running on OSX 10.5.7 and FF 3.5.1 and installed this today so this seemed like a good thread to post this in.

Everything seems to be working except the live support icon on the site does not show as online when logged in, in fact, it shows as offline no matter what I have the status set to. Is this a current bug or am I missing a setting option somewhere?

Do you see visitors in the visitor view window?

Yes, I can see the visitors hitting the site in the preview window, but the icon on the site will not change to online/green. I have installed and used the LiveResponse option from sourceforge and that one changes the icon to show as online, but there are limitations with that one so I wanted to try out your version. One thing that is different between the two is that LR uses the staff URL for login and I noticed yours specifies to use the client login URL.

Thanks.

Your URL should be like http://www.yourdomain.com/helpdesk/

If you like, you can PM me some test login details to your help desk and I will do some diagnostics tests to get this issue resolved.

It is currently setup on http://support.domain.com/ and that is what is entered into the URL field. Is there an issue with sub-domains?

I ended up running uninstall in FF then reinstalled and recreated the account and got it to work. smile.gif

Only issue I have seen now is that it doesn't pick up every key I type, so I have to double or triple hit hit a key often while typing, have you noticed any issues typing in the chat window?

Thanks.

Do you know if this happens when you are typing into normal text boxes in the browser?

I can confirm that text input in other forms in FF works as normal but text input when chatting to anyone via the Live Support module is hampered by the apparent 'missing' of every 4th or 5th keystroke...
