Hello,
I got the integration api working and i'm pretty happy that there is something that exists, even if kayako couldnt provide it themselves. (Good work).
I was wondering if there was some way to easily output the pages templates and all similar to the integration with modernbill? I see that it would be possible for me to build my own interface to the knowledgebase, but to make things easy I was hoping to just use the templates inside of kayako.
Thanks in advance

Integration with existing template?

This isn't possible via our API as our API doesn't work this way. You would need to build your own interface. You could easily copy Kayako's interface style, though.

You mean by copying the template over and plugging in the necessary php values grabbed from the API? I thought about this, the templates do contain the for each clauses, etc where it would be feed the data. If I decide to go this route (seems like a semi-hefty job.. couple days or a week), I'll post my work here for all to share. Since Kayako won't provide us with anything.
(WTH were they thinking anyway? no custom api? I talked to one of the staff and they were very rude when questioned about it, though I cant say I was the nicest chap in chat)

I mean by physically re-creating the interface. You can copy CSS and HTML code and then have for each loops, etc to show the required information collected from the API.
Kayako will have their own API in V4 which I am pleased about.

Have they given any ETAs on its release?

Sadly not. There is a post on their blog about why they are not doing so, though.

we are almost done with the part from our side for the CQ Integration part. We are just waiting for the CQ guys to come up with their piece of code. Where are you now in that integration? Let me know, if you need some help.

I broke down and did it the old fashioned way, cutting my template into kayako.. Then users click the button, go to kayako, get what they need, and continue back to my main site.
"FAQ" and "SUPPORT" are both running on kayako, everything else is its own php thing.. I'm going to have a fun time attempting to call geoip lib from inside kayako for the header though..
