I have tried configuring on 2 different PCs but I keep getting "Could not connect to server, Check your settings and try again". I am pretty sure that the settings are correct since it is working for my colleagues (with same login) on their PCs (different location). I have tried using 2 different connections as well and disabled firewalls too. I am stumped on what could be blocking it even on both my PCs? Is there any log to check?
BTW I am using FF 3.0.8 and latest client

What version of Kayako are you running (shown on the /staff/ and /admin/ login pages)?

BTW as mentioned earlier, it is working fine for my colleagues on their PCs.

Can you try deleting your FireFox profiles (you can simply move the folders to the desktop for now) so a new one gets created? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles explains it. You can then reinstall the application and see if it connects.

Can you create a test staff account and PM me the username and password? I'll do some testing.

How does it connect to the server? Maybe there´s something blocking the communication..

Just the same way as the official client connects. If that connects fine, it should work.

Hi Craig
I'm also facing similar issues as of 7th July. Prior to that, everything was working fine and I have made no changes to my system. Weird!
I've sent you a PM with details of a test account I've set up to enable you to test it out yourself.
kind regards,
Rajeev

We are working on getting logging enabled to debug these issues.
