I want to know how can I use SupportSuite to create a new ticket from external web application using any api, if available or how can I build such. I have a shopping cart which I want to handle further customer relationship from this SupportSuite with the help of ticketing system so that I will have a single ticket for each customer.
I want to know if there is any api (through soap or so) that I can use to generate a ticket number from SupportSuite and send email including the ticket number in subject so that customer will reply to the ticket and further conversation will be held from SupportSuite.

I'm pretty sure that our Kayako SupportSuite API should do what you require. Take a look at our details & download thread for more information.

I don't have much idea about using API's. Could you please guide me through ? Do I need to upload the api files in SupportSuite or my web application ?
Thanks in advance,

Sorry for the delay in replying; I've been very busy recently.
Initial installation instructions are provided in our Setting Up thread - the API files need to be uploaded to SupportSuite. This will add a SOAP server to SupportSuite, as well as a "native PHP" class system so that if your client application is on the same server and also using PHP, you can avoid the overhead of using SOAP.
Actually getting your application to talk to the SOAP server is beyond the help that we can give individually since it will differ for everyone. We have examples for using the SOAP and native PHP APIs in our Example Usage thread. Those examples will be most useful if you are using PHP; if you are not using PHP for your client application, you will have no choice but to use the SOAP interface, and I can't really provide any language-specific help at all, since I don't have the required experience with other languages.
Once you've figured out the basic usage from our examples, take a look at the API documentation to see what functions are available and how to use them.
