I just stumbled across this add-on, and it's a fantastic idea, and thanks for making it.
I do have an issue that prevents me from using it so far though. Our SupportSuite is setup under a url like this: https://support.oursite.com/ with no sub directory, and only HTTPS access. Unfortunately, when attempting to add to your firefox add-on, it simply says cannot connect.
I have double checked that https://support.oursite.com/ is indeed what my Kayako LiveResponse app shows as well, and that works fine.
I'm just wondering if it's some issue with HTTPS only, or if it's an issue with not using a sub-folder, but a sub-domain, that is causing the issue.
Any help would be appreciated, and keep up the good work.

Just tested and confirmed as a bug. I'll forward this on to the developer.

My SupportSuite version is 3.40.01, My useragent is
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2
I ran httpsniffer and i think it logs in.
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Content-Length: 266
Content-Type: text/html
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.6
Set-Cookie: SWIFT_sessionid190=bfdac62680d9584bb701c598483752fb; path=/; domain=support.domain.com
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2009 14:05:26 GMT
(i have changed the domain in the sniffer output above)
But still it shows the error as shown in the attached image.

Aha, it is FireFox 3.1 causing the issue. I haven't tried it yet myself (it being beta only at this stage). I'll get the developer to look into it anyway.

I'm using Firefox 3.06 though, and issue is present with Kayako 3.40.01.
The only things we have different are that we have HTTP access disabled, and only HTTPS access, and our SupportSuite is accessed through a sub-domain redirect, in that we use https://support.ourdomain.com instead of https://ourdomain.com/support, so unless either of those things are the root cause, I'm not sure what's happening.
Any help on this would be great, as I hate the Kayako app with it's IE core...

That screenshot you posted said "FireFox 3.1 Beta 2" in the title.

I can confirm now that it does not work with subdomain. HTTPS is not the issue.
I downloaded firefox 3.0.6 to test that.

Ok - I need to wake up. Didn't notice two people were having this issue!
Confirmed. It isn't working on subdomains nor is it working on SSL. Will get the developer onto both. Thanks for the report.

Hi Craig,
Was wondering if there was any update on this issue and when you think it maybe fixed?
Thanks
Harry.

The developer tells me an update will be released fixing a stack of bugs within the next few days.

Ok, subdomains fixed in 0.0.21. HTTPS will be fixed in 0.0.22 which will be released in the next few days.

HTTPS support now added sooner than I thought. Download the latest version to get this working.
