Nice work on the updates!!!

Question... is it possible to leave the livesupport window closed and just active in the firefox bar... and when a user requests a chat, an alert similar to new tickets appears? I do not want to keep another window open all the time.

If not can you add this to the request list?

We are looking into getting the window docked to the system tray in whatever operating system you use.

Can I ask what OS you are using?

I guess my request is a little different. I can already use the desktop app from Kayako in my system tray. Is it possible to have the live chat 'online' when I have my firefox open. Maybe have a similar display like the tickets withing number of tickets. Example Online (1) or something. Then when a chat is requested it is displayed via an alert or a new text in the bar next to the ticket and online text. (hard to really explain without set terms for your kayako bar)

Ah, right. Initially this is what we were going to do but a few thoughts stopped us doing so. The main one is if you close your browser window, it would disconnect and then reconnect when you open up.

This is one of the reasons why I am looking for a way to dock the live chat window to the system tray in whatever operating system you are using and display alerts on screen when a new chat is requested so it can be reopened from the tray.

Yes... I did think about the disconnect reconnect thing myself... which makes sense... but

If I want to stay online all the time... I open the kayako desktop app.
If I want to be online only when I have my browser open (which it stays open for long periods when I am working) then this would be useful. I can see not adding it though. I guess its just me being lazy and not wanting to open the desktop app (but still be available for chat) when i am gonna just browse for 20mins or do some small work.

Ah right. I'll add it to my notes and see if we can get it to happen on a setting or something.
